This economy sucks. My hospital cut 74 positions yesterday. Mine was one of them. The PR person is making sure the media knows that nearly all the positions cut were "not in direct patient care". I guess that means we all have completely frivolous, unimportant jobs or something. Well without me in our tiny clinic the clinical staff will now have to obtain and organize patient information, send our information to other providers along with their other duties.

I am very depressed over this because I loved this job. It was a perfect fit for me and my coworkers were awesome. Now, I need to quit moping and update my resume. The rent isn't going to pay itself.
